GOOD news, coffee drinkers!

Coffee might actually be good for your health, according to a recent review in British Medical Journal.

The review looked at 201 studies and found that drinking a whopping four cups of coffee a day might actually be safe to drink.

“Coffee consumption was more often associated with benefit than harm for a range of health outcomes,” the study found.

High coffee consumption was associated with a lower risk of specific cancers. These include: “Prostate cancer, endometrial cancer, melanoma, oral cancer, leukaemia, non-melanoma skin cancer, and liver cancer.”

Meanwhile, coffee drinkers who drink three cups a day have the lowest risk of suffering from cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease and stroke.

Coffee consumption was also associated with a lower risk of neurological problems, including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and depression.
